Allen Press is Now a Member of the Lawrence Chamber

LAWRENCE, Kan. – October 3, 2016 – Allen Press, Inc. is proud to announce it is the newest member of the Lawrence Chamber. With a goal of sparking business growth and representing its members, the Lawrence Chamber has supported and promoted businesses within Lawrence and the Douglas County region for 137 years.

“It’s a great time to be in Lawrence, and Allen Press is proud to support the Lawrence Chamber and its projects to enhance our local businesses,” said Allen Press Senior Vice President, Business Development and Marketing, Maria Preston-Cargill.

Along with the Economic Development Committee of Lawrence, the Lawrence Chamber has committed to an economic growth initiative called “Growing Forward.” With the primary goals of growing jobs and expanding the economic base of the Lawrence and Douglas County area, “Growing Forward” is a project supported by devoted volunteers from the Lawrence and Douglas County community.

As a member of the Chamber, Allen Press takes part in the effort to support job creation, business development, and growth of Lawrence and surrounding Douglas County community.
